Watch: Woman in Turkey kisses India Army lady officer to express gratitude

A deeply moving picture of a Turkish woman expressing her gratitude by kissing the face of an Indian Army lady officer, who is in Turkey as part of the rescue and relief mission, has gone viral on social media. The post was shared by the official Twitter handle of the Additional Directorate General of Public Information (ADG PI) of the Indian Army. They wrote in the caption, “We care.”

The Indian Army has set up a field hospital at Iskenderun in Hatay province of Türkiye to treat those injured in the devastating earthquake. Medical and critical care specialists including orthopaedic surgeons  have flown to Turkey in an IAF plane to treat emergencies.
