A dolphin watch cruise in New Zealand freed a Hector&rsquo;s dolphin that was entangled in a buoy line while her distressed calf was swimming around her. In a video shared on their Facebook page,&nbsp; safari company Akaroa Dolphin showed how they spotted the Hector&rsquo;s dolphin last Friday.</p>

The dolphin was struggling to get free. In the video, one can see the boat stopping near the dolphin and bringing it on board. The buoy rope is then cut off with a knife to free the dolphin before it is released into the sea again.</p>
<p>
According to Akaroa Dolphins, the incident occurred near Haylocks Bay, which is a marine reserve where fishing is not allowed.</p>
