Watch: Lionel Messi goes to bed with the World Cup by his side

Argentina captain Lionel Messi posed with the World Cup in his bed after celebrating the triumph with his teammates and fans in Argentina on Tuesday.

Messi shared a post on Instagram titled “Buen día” where he is seen posing like he is asleep while snuggling the World Cup trophy.

Earlier, the Lionel Messi-led Argentina’s FIFA World Cup-winning team reached home to a rousing welcome by thousands of ecstatic football fans.

There was an open bus parade for the world champions in the capital Buenos Aires, where Lionel Messi and his triumphant teammates displayed the trophy to the jubilant crowds. .

Argentina won their third World Cup title on Sunday night after beating defending champions France in what has been termed as the best final ever.
