Telangana techie shot dead in the USA

A 26-year-old software engineer from Telangana was shot dead inside his SUV in Baltimore city in the United States early on Monday.</p>
<p>
His family in Telangana’s Nalgonda said the incident took place when Nakka Sai Charan was on his way back after dropping a friend at the airport. He had been working as a software engineer with a firm in Baltimore for the last two years.</p>
<p>
According to his family in India, Charan, son of a retired school teacher, moved to the United States four years ago for his post-graduation and after completing his studies took up a job there.</p>

According to a US news portal, at about 4:30 am on Monday, Maryland Transportation Authority Police were called to a single-vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 95 near the Caton Avenue exit. Nakka was immediately rushed to the University of Maryland R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Centre, where he was pronounced dead a little later, the report said.</p>
<p>
Baltimore police have launched a homicide investigation following Nakka's death, it added. Additional details about the incident were not immediately clear. His friends in the US informed his family about the incident. His parents and other family members were shocked to hear the news.</p>
