<strong>Four high-level water experts from Israel and as many as eight leading Israeli water companies will share their knowledge and showcase the cutting-edge water technologies at the 17th Everything About Water Expo 2022 which begins in New Delhi Thursday.&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p>

The August 4-6 event is expected to further strengthen the ongoing cooperation between India and Israel in the field of water.<br />

Israel, which recycles 90% of its wastewater- making it the number one global leader when it comes to wastewater recycling – is the Country Partner for the expo.&nbsp;</p>

By adopting a holistic approach to water consumption that encompasses good management, high-tech development, and public education, Israel has transformed from a water-parched nation to a global leader in the field of water. &nbsp;<br />

Deepening the Israel-India water partnership, the experts will share their knowledge in a session that will focus on the Israeli model for water management, policy regulations, water technologies, R&amp;D implementation, and the Israel-India water partnership.<br />
<br />
At the same time, the top Israeli water companies will introduce their solutions related to water distribution and management, filtration, leak detection, wastewater treatment, desalination, and water security.<br />

The event, which will further boost India-Israel cooperation in water management, takes place at a time when both countries are celebrating 30 years of diplomatic relations. &nbsp;<br />

Both countries had signed two major water agreements to increase cooperation in water conservation and state water utility reform during Prime Minister Narendra Modi&#39;s visit to Israel in 2017.</p>

India is also the only country wherein Israel has the position of Water Attache to help share Israeli best practices and technologies for advancements in India&#39;s water management sector.<br />

As reported by IndiaNarrative.com earlier, Ambassador Eynat Shlein, Head of MASHAV – Israel&#39;s Agency for International Development Cooperation, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel – visited India in June to bolster cooperation between the two countries in the fields of agriculture and water.</p>

&quot;India is a strong, strategic partner of Israel. The two most significant pillars of our growing relations are cooperation in agriculture and water, which was the focus during my visit to India. These two fields are so important that out of the 6 resident experts that Mashav posted around the world, 2 are based in India,&quot; Shlein had said during her visit.</p>

Currently, there are 29 fully-active Indo-Israeli Centers of Excellence in different parts of India, which are benefiting millions of farmers on a daily basis. With 13 more such centers in the pipeline, they will be gradually expanded into Villages of Excellence in partnership with local state governments.<br />
<br />
One of the main highlights of Shlein&#39;s June 10-16 visit was the signing of a joint declaration between Israel and Haryana&#39;s Irrigation and Water Resources Department in the field of integrated water resources management and capacity building. As part of this joint declaration, MASHAV will share knowledge, capacity building, and Israeli technologies for the development of Haryana in the water management sector.<br />
<br />
The top Israeli official had also visited the office of the National Mission for Clean Ganga, Ministry of Jal Shakti to discuss various areas of cooperation in the water sector.<br />
