Sheikh Hasina slams vested interests for Durga Puja violence, affirms Bangladesh will not go “backwards”

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has said that a few with vested interests are working towards creating communal divide in the country.

“No matter how much good we do, there is a quarter that is occupied with discrediting Bangladesh. What do they want? They don't want the normal democratic process to continue in this country," bdnews quoted Hasina as saying.
