Anti-Taliban force, the National Resistance Front is sending its envoy to Washington to meet US President Joe Biden and key members of his administration including the CIA chief.
“We need arms, munitions to continue the fight against terrorism”, Ali Maisam Nazary, head of foreign relations for the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan told British newspaper DailyMail.com.
“This is not only a fight against the Taliban, this is a fight against international terrorism – just as it was in the late 1990s.”
“We are asking for arms and support from the US President. For us it is very difficult to sustain a safe zone without humanitarian support. We need the US, European Union, United Nations, anyone,” says Nazary, who is expected to visit the USA next week.

‘Our message for the US, back our struggle or risk the country becoming a base for attacks on the US.”
As the world is watching the horrifying evacuations on the Kabul airport and Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, about 100 kms from Kabul, the newest province of the country Panjshir has become the hope for a free Afghanistan.
And the Taliban is adamant to crush the resistance. They have deployed their best fighters to “teach” the rebels a lesson but so far without any success.
“Some Taliban commanders decided to attack Panjshir. They sent a convoy of 3000 men. But they stopped in the middle. They know that, from Panjshir 3000 men will return in coffins. The Taliban wants to negotiate. But we have our conditions.” Safaraz, a commander of National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRFA) said on Twitter.
And conditions are very clear. Panjshir Resistance leaders Ahmad Shah and Amrullah Saleh say the Taliban will have to agree to decentralisation of governance which will ensure participation of the people of the country, ensuring social justice, equality, rights, and freedom for all.
“Our political objective is to make it possible for Afghan people to have a say in determining the character of the state and type of state. We are ready to negotiate on that matter. But if we are asked to express allegiance or surrender, we will not,” declared Amarullah Saleh.
But if you are asked to express allegiance or surrender, we will not. I am constitutionally the acting president of #Afghanistan.
