In less than a week, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain has twice put Pakistan into an uncomfortable focus. Once again he has appealed to the US to stop providing aid to Pakistan for violating the human rights of people in Sindh, <a href="https://indianarrative.com/world/pakistani-army-losses-mount-in-daring-attacks-by-baloch-nationalists-2012.html"><strong>Balochistan</strong></a>, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK), and <a href="https://indianarrative.com/world/people-of-gilgit-baltistan-seek-autonomy-from-pakistan-221.html"><strong>Gilgit Baltistan (GB)</strong></a>.
In a letter addressed to US citizens, Hussain says: "Pakistan's powerful military and its intelligence agencies under the camouflage of so-called democratic civilian government is one of the most repressive in the world. Despite all these realities the US administration and other international financial institutions including World Bank and IMF are the main financial supporter of Pakistan which is also known as epi-centre of all sorts of terrorism."
The MQM leader, who is based in the UK, has alleged that Pakistan has forcibly occupied Sindh, Balochistan, KPK and GB. Through his letter, he has urged American citizens to ask their government to stop providing aid to the repressive regime in Islamabad.
Hussain has alleged that even as the Pakistan government indulges in extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and illegal arrests of opponents, no action has been taken by international organizations against the Pakistani regime to bring justice to the oppressed people in these regions.
The letter says that the Pakistan Army is the creator of the Al-Qaeda, Taliban, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and hundreds of other Jihadi outfits where thousands of religious fanatics and terrorists are being trained as strategic assets of the Pakistan's spy agency Inter Services Intelligence.

This letter comes on the heels of his letter to the US Congress to table a bill for the independence of Balochistan and Sindh on the same lines as was done for Tibet's freedom recently.
Hussain said that over 80 million <a href="https://indianarrative.com/world/pak-leader-urges-us-congress-to-table-bill-for-free-balochistan-sindh-2622.html"><strong>people of Balochistan and Sindh</strong> </a>want independence from a repressive regime in Pakistan. He alleged that the Baloch and Sindhi people are often subjected to enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings by the Pakistan Army and its intelligence agencies.
Ninety per cent people in Balochistan and Sindh provinces want independence from Pakistan, he said in his appeal to Congress.
Praising the US Congress for the bill on Tibet, Hussain said in his letter that China has mercilessly curbed the fundamental rights of the Tibetans. "This is the right time for the Dalai Lama to make more efforts for helpless Tibetans," he added..
