Mahathir Mohamad joins evil club of Erdogan, Imran Khan

Former Malaysian prime minister Mahathir Mohamad’s tweet, seeking the slaughter of all French people, underlines the malaise that afflicts the political and thought leaders of the non-Arabic Muslim world. Mahathir had tweeted, “Muslims have the right to be angry and kill millions of French for the massacres of the past. The French should teach their people to respect other people’s feelings.”

Teach what—that either you bow to jihadists or get slaughtered?

It is interesting to note that, with the exception of Qataris, Arab rulers have practically given up support to the Wahhabis and Islamist supremacy that they (the Wahhabis) propagate. It is evident from the tough actions that Saudi Arabian crown prince Mohammed bin Salman has taken to liberalize society (allowing women to drive is one of them) and suppress Islamists. It is with his help that India has been able to extradite many jihadists from Saudi Arabia.

Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, crown prince of Abu Dhabi, is another modernizer in the region. Other Arab and Muslim rulers are also giving up decades-old cussedness and their excessive emphasis on their Islamic identity. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Bahrain have recently normalized relations with Israel. US President Donald Trump played a key role in this, though the mainstream media will never give him credit for that; but that’s another story.

Sudan has followed suit. Trump has said that “at least five more” Arab states want normal ties with Israel.

In general, Arabs are getting away from Islamist madness. This is also evident from their reactions to the terror attack in the French city of Nice. In statement, the UAE Foreign Ministry denounced the criminal act. The Senior Scholars Council of Saudi Arabia has said that terrorism is condemnable regardless of its source. It is not allowed under any pretext, the Council said.

Kuwait too denounced the “brutal terrorist crime” at Nice. As also did the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Gulf Cooperation Council.

Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, however, are still promoting jihad by, among other things, maligning French President Emmanuel Macron for his tough talk and action against Islamism in his country. Mahathir Mohamad has joined this evil duo.

Mahathir Mohamad posted 13 tweets, which said that Macron is not “civilized.” The French President, he said, is “very primitive in blaming the religion of Islam and Muslims for the killing of the school teacher.” And Mahathir believes that he himself is civilized! While urging Muslims to kill all French people!

In short, the axis of evil now compromises three musketeers—a wannabe caliph (Erdogan), a puppet, and a has-been who was thrown out of office a few months ago.

.
