Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar met Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan – the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and the Foreign Minister of the UAE and discussed bilateral issues and multilateral cooperation.
Jaishankar also conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and conveyed the Prime Minister's appreciation regarding the care taken by UAE of Indians during the Covid-19 pandemic. They also discussed regional and global issues of mutual interest.
Jaishankar and the UAE Foreign Minister held discussions on health and economic issues. Both sides reviewed their cooperation on various facets of their comprehensive strategic partnership including trade, investment, infrastructure, energy, food security and defence. They discussed recent regional and international developments and agreed to continue coordination on various multilateral issues.
