Canada continues to fail to check vandalism by Khalistanis as a Hindu temple was targeted yet again by them. The incident was reported from Laxmi Narayan Temple in British Columbia where the radical miscreants defaced the temple with Khalistan referendum posters in intervening night of Saturday and Sunday.
The posters, carrying picture of Khalistan Tiger Force chief and designated terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar who was gunned down in alleged gang rivalry in June this year, were put up with the message, “Canada Investigate India’s role in 18th June assassination.” The Consulate General of India in Toronto strongly condemned this act and urged Canadian authorities to investigate and take appropriate action against those responsible.
“Those who have done it wearing masks cannot be true Sikhs. These Khalistanis are disguised ISI agents and need to be dealt with sternly,” said BJP spokesperson RP Singh.
The video that captured the incident has gone viral on several social media platforms. The video shows two masked persons, pasting posters and taking pictures before fleeing the location. The incident currently being probed by Canadian authorities has led to a major uproar in the Indian diaspora as this happens to be the fourth such incident this year.
In April, the BAPS Swaminarayan temple in Windsor, Ontario, was subjected to vandalism, with anti-India graffiti being spray-painted on its premises.
In February, Ram Mandir located in Mississauga, Canada, was also targeted. The vandals wrote anti-India messages on the walls of the temple.
In January, a Hindu temple in Brampton experienced a distressing incident when it was defaced with anti-India graffiti, causing significant outrage within the Indian community. The Consulate General of India in Toronto denounced the defilement of the Gauri Shankar Mandir and expressed deep concern about its impact on the sentiments of the Indian community in Canada.
Meanwhile in a major success, Indian federal agencies have nabbed two close aides of Khalistani terrorist Arsh Dalla who were deported on Saturday. Gangster Manpreet Singh Peeta, and his brother Mandeep were deported from the Philippines to India and the National Investigation Agency (NIA) later arrested them. Punjab police were also present at the Delhi airport at that time. Manpreet had executed many plans at the behest of Arsh Dala in Punjab while staying in the Philippines.
