Tata Motors has launched the Punch CNG at a starting price of Rs 7.10 lakh, and going up to Rs 9.68 lakh for the top-spec variant (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The Punch iCNG is available in five variants - Pure (Rs 7.10 lakh), Adventure (Rs 7.85 lakh), Adventure Rhythm (Rs 8.20 lakh), Accomplished (Rs 8.85 lakh), Accomplished Dazzle S (Rs 9.68 lakh).
The Tata Punch iCNG is based on the ALFA platform, and uses Tata's dual-cylinder CNG technology.
Powering the Tata Punch iCNG is a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Revotron engine, offering a peak power of 72 hp @ 6,000 rpm and a max torque of 103 Nm @ 3,230 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Punch iCNG is equipped with a single ECU and features 'Direct Start' in CNG mode.
The Tata Punch iCNG has received a micro-switch to keep the car switched off at the time of refuelling and iTPMS.
The Punch iCNG comes with several features, including a voice-assisted electric sunroof, front seat armrest, USB Type C charger and a shark-fin antenna.
