As part of the launch offers the company is giving an instant discount of Rs 1,000 on ICICI Bank cards and an exchange bonus of Rs 1,000 for Xiaomi users on both smartphones.
The smartphones will go on sale starting August 4 and will be available on Amazon.in, mi.com and Xiaomi retail stores in the country.
Redmi 12 5G and Redmi 12 4G phones feature a 6.79-inch FHD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate.
Redmi 12 5G is equipped with a 50MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it features an 8MP selfie camera.
Redmi 12 4G features a triple rear camera setup, with a 50MP rear camera boasting an f/1.8 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, there's an 8MP selfie camera.
The Redmi 12 series phones pack a 5,000mAh battery with 18W wired fast charging support.
Both the 5G and 4G versions come in three colour options - Moonstone Silver, Pastel Blue and Jade Black.
