The latest UNSC resolution adopted for Afghanistan last month can become a matter of concern for global safety. UNSC on Dec 22, 2021 passed UNSC resolution 2615 to provide an exemption from sanctions against the Taliban to allow humanitarian aid for the war-torn country. While allowing free flow of much-needed Humanitarian Aid, the resolution offers liberal terms of engagement for the Taliban with practically no conditions giving free pass on critical issues like terror safe havens, Human rights including gender &amp; minority rights and formation of an inclusive government.</p>
