The Joe Biden-led administration has come out in support of temporarily waiving, Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) on Covid 19 vaccines. India and South Africa had approached WTO last October to waive parts of the agreement on TRIPS for Covid-19 vaccines.
