In a first and historic achievement, a team of US surgeons from the University of Maryland Medicine have successfully implanted a heart from a genetically modified pig in a 57-year-old man. The procedure is a major milestone for animal to human transplantation as the success of this surgery could help solve the issue of chronic shortage of organ donations. Watch to know more!</p>
