US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin met Afghan President Ashraf Ghani in an unannounced visit to Kabul on Sunday. Washington reviewed the peace process there and its planned troop withdrawal. On his first trip to Afghanistan since his appointment, Austin tweeted he had come to &quot;listen and learn&quot;. The visit comes before May 1 which is the deadline for withdrawal of U.S. troops as agreed with the Taliban.</p>
