Unsung Sikh patriot Sunder Singh Lyallpuri dedicated his entire life to India’s independence and saw it happening true. He founded The Hindustan Times but later sold it to Birla Group due to a financial crisis. Sunder Singh Lyallpuri popularised the non-cooperation movement in Punjab and also co-drafted the Sikh marriage act.
