Ukraine moves to nationalise its defence firm against China

Ukraine is set to take aerospace company Motor Sich back into state ownership as per a top security official Oleksiy Danilov, Ukraine&rsquo;s Security and Defence Council. Motor Sich was privatised two decades ago. China, since then has tried to acquire the Motor Sich. However, in January, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy signed a decree in January imposing sanctions on Chinese firms like Skyrizon which along with other Chinese firms has about 75% stakes in Motor Sich. The move came after Washington opposed the deal to keep critical defense technology out of Beijing&rsquo;s hands. Watch to see how this will impact the world order.</p>
