As India faces the deadly second wave, Russia has extended their support to the country by sending two flights of emergency medical equipment and aid. This comes ahead of US&#39; expected assistance which was marred by their refusal to assist a friendly nation, facing heavy criticism at home and abroad. Russian President Vladimir Putin in a telephonic conversation with PM Modi announced the supplies for India and discussed convergence of shared interests for the upcoming 2+2 discussion between the respective foreign and defence ministers.</p>
