Known as Kunj in the local village of Rajasthan's Keechan, the Demoiselle Cranes cover almost 5000 kms to reach India as part of its migratory season movement. To cover the distance and help one another, these birds fly in a V-shaped formation, which according to legends, inspired the Pandavas in their war planning and strategy during the epic battles in Mahabharata.</p>
