Pakistan’s blasphemy laws are increasingly used for personal or political score settling in violation of the rights to freedom of religion and belief and of opinion and expression. The case of Asia Bibi is a case in point. Taking cognizance of this, the EU moved a resolution to discuss the rising abuse of this law and an end for this outdated law. Many in Pakistan have called for a debate on the validity of this law with many booked under the very same law. Imran Khan's image of a 'Naya Pakistan' is now battered with the rising cases of people charged under this blasphemy law. Watch to know more.</p>
