Former member of the Dutch parliament Harry van Bommel plans to file a petition in the Netherlands parliament about the genocide of Bengalis carried out by the Pakistani Army during the 1971 Liberation War. Bommel, who is a Dutch human rights activist, led a European delegation to Bangladesh to understand more about the genocide and the 1971 Liberation War.
