Tokyo Olympic gold medallist Neeraj Chopra has created history. With 1455 points, he has topped World Athletics Rankings which is 22 ahead of Grenada’s Anderson Peters (1433). Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Jakub Vadlejch of the Czech Republic is 3rd with 1416 points. On August 30, 2022, the Indian javelin throw ace rose to world No. 2 but he was stuck behind Peters.
