Meet Avani Lekhara, First Indian Woman Clinches Gold In Paralympics

In 2012, the car accident left her paralyzed but didn’t shatter her dreams. She is Avani Lekhara, a para shooter who made India proud by clinching the first gold in the Paralympics. In 2021, she won the Khel Ratna award, the highest award in sports and conferred with India’s 4th highest civilian award Padma Shri. She was given the title “Change Maker Of The Year 2021” by BBC India
