Meet 93-Year-Old Martial Art Master Sankaranarayana Menon Conferred With Padma Shri

Sankaranarayana Menon at the age of six grabbed the sword and shield to learn Kalaripayattu, an ancient martial art form practiced in Kerala, and became its unrivaled master. He reminds us of the greying Kung Fu masters of Shaolin. In 2022, Sankaranarayana was awarded the Padma Shri for his contribution to the art form. Now he has trained his sons in the martial art form to carry forward the tradition of Kalaripayattu. Watch the video to know more
