With the foundation stone of the Major Dhyan Chand Sports University laid, India is set to be home to its first state of the art sports university. Located in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, MDC Sports University is being established in an area covering Salawa & Kaili villages of Sardhana town. Its estimated cost is about ₹700 Crore.
