Maharashtra Covaxin News: Bharat Biotech Can Supply 85 Lakh Doses

Hyderabad-based manufacturer Bharat Biotech has stated that it can deliver 5 lakh doses in May to Maharashtra to kickstart the immunisation programme of the state. The vaccine will cost Rs 600 per dose plus 5 percent taxes. This immunisation drive will cover the 18-44 age group. Bharat Biotech has asked for an advance payment to reserve the order. Unofficially, SII has also informed the state it can supply after May 20. Bharat Biotech can supply Maharashtra, 5 lakh doses in May, 20 lakh doses in June and July and 60 lakh doses- August, September and October. Watch the full story.</p>
