ISRO has developed a joint earth observation satellite mission radar with NASA. This Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) is capable of producing extremely high-resolution images. Nasa-ISRO SAR (NISAR), for the first time will use dual-frequency L and S-band SAR for earth observation. With NISAR being able to measure changes in our planet&#39;s surface less than a centimetre across, besides natural occurrences, man made incidents from infrastructure development to elimination of a property or structure can be tracked with NISAR. NISAR may also be used for tracking transgressions and setting up new structures usually used as a tool for claiming land around international borders. Keeping an eye on global measurements of the causes and consequences of land surface change, NISAR can prove to be a game changer. Watch to know more!</p>
