Sharing the ideas of liberty, equality and fraternity – India and France have come a long way in their mutual understanding of each other which has enhanced the bilateral relations. Both countries have strong policies against terrorism and rising radical Islamisation. In recent years, Macron has found a willing friend in India's Prime Minister Modi, and has seen strengthening and improving economic and defense goals.
