India Calls For Security And Safety Of UN Peacekeepers | UNSC Meet

On Wednesday, India called for the strengthening of security and safety of UN peacekeepers and bringing perpetrators to justice. Ambassador TS Tirumurti, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations during the informal meet of the Security Council on peace-making also called for enhancing the use of technology for safety. India is one of the largest troop-contributing countries. The envoy also recalled India's gift of 200,000 vaccine doses for UN peacekeepers in the UNSC meet.</p>
