India Calls For Covid Vaccine Equity, IP Waiver For East Asia, Gets Backing From Malaysia

Calling to collaborate with East Asian countries for producing off-patent medicines, vaccines and other medical technologies to combat Covid-19, India has raised the clarion call for IP waivers and end of protectionism in global production for life-saving vaccines. Malaysia, which is a cosponsor of the TRIPS Waiver at the World Trade Organisation has backed New Delhi's approach. Watch to know more.</p>
