Freedom Fighter Udham Singh Who Avenged Jalianwala Bagh Massacre

Udham Singh witnessed Jalianwala Bagh Massacre when he was barely 20. He was a follower of Saheed Bhagat Singh. Born in 1899 in Patiala, Punjab, Udham Singh avenged Jaliawala Bagh Massacre 21 years later of the incident. He lost his parents when he was seven years old. Brought up in an orphanage, he completed his education in a destitute home. On 13 March 1940, Sardar Udham Singh shot Michael O’ Dwyer dead who had ordered fire on innocents people in Jalianwala Bagh
