First Airbus C295 for India successfully completes its maiden flight

First Airbus C295 for India successfully completed its maiden flight and marking a significant milestone toward its delivery by the second half of 2023. According to a statement released by Airbus on Monday, the tactical aircraft took off from Seville, Spain, on the 5th of May at 11.45 local time (GMT+1) and landed at 02.45 after 3 hours of flight. Jean-Brice Dumont, Head of Military Air Systems of Airbus Defence and Space said on this historical achievement that this first flight represents a significant accomplishment for the first Make in India aerospace programme.
