DDC Election: Will the results change anything in Jammu and Kashmir?

Javed Shah, a Kashmiri political analyst and writer speaks with India Narrative on the Gupkar Alliance and the DDC elections. With the results of the panchayat election coming out, Shah states the Gupkar Alliance is up to their old tactics. The Roshni Land Scam has also put a spanner in the works for them. Since the abrogation of Articles 370 & 35A, the Indian Constitution now fully applies to the UTs of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, and the DDC elections are the first major democratic process for the people of the region to elect their leaders.</p>
