The Drug Controller General of India has given approval to conduct phase 3 trials of Biological E’s COVID-19 vaccine Corbevax as booster shots. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya announced that Biological E’s COVID vaccine Corbevax along with Serum Institute of India’s Covid-19 vaccine Covovax and anti-Covid pill Molnupiravir had received approval from the Central Drug Authority for restricted use in emergency situation.
