The lead scientist on China’s Sinovac vaccine trials in Indonesia, Novilia Sjafri Bachtiar has died of suspected Covid 19. Her death has raised questions on the efficacy of China’s home grown Sinovac vaccine, which was widely administered in the fourth-most populous nation of the world.
