According to a report by a global energy consulting firm, China's greenhouse gas emissions level in 2019 surpassed the rest of the developed world combined. Also, during the pandemic, as the rest of the world struggled to get a hold of the coronavirus, they managed to reduce their pollution too, but China's pollution level rose. China's share of total global emissions at 27% is more than the combined output of US, EU and India.
