At a height of 19,300 feet, the Border Roads Organistaion (BRO) has build the world’s highest motorable road at the Umlingla Pass in Eastern Ladakh. The 52-km long road through Umlingla Pass connects important towns in Chumar sector and offers an alternate direct route connecting Chisumle and Demchok from Leh. It will not only boost tourism in the region with motor enthusiasts but also serve as a vital military road against Chinese aggression. Watch to know more.</p>
