After Tauktae, another cyclone is likely to hit India by May 26 along the eastern coast. Named Cyclone Yaas, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has informed that a low-pressure area is very likely to form over north Andaman Sea and adjoining east central Bay of Bengal around May 22. It is likely to intensify into a cyclonic storm by May 24. The storm is very likely to move north-west and reach north of Bay of Bengal near the Odisha-West Bengal Coast around May 26 evening.
