Solar eclipse is a celestial event that occurs when the new Moon passes between the Sun and the Earth and totally blocks out the Sun. On December 14, partial eclipse is likely to begin around 07:04 PM whereas the full eclipse will begin at 08:02 IST. Expected to end around 12:23 am on December 15, the solar eclipse will be seen at its peak at 09:43 pm. The longest possible duration of totality is likely to be 2 minutes and 10 seconds.</p>
