Rare video: 20 lions descend on river to quench their thirst

The rare video of a group of 20 lions drinking water at a river was shot by Nadav Ossendryver, founder and CEO of LatestSightings.com while on a safari at the famous MalaMala Game Reserve in South Africa.

Ossendyver wrote that the extremely rare sighting at Sand River was completely unexpected and made on the final morning of the safari when they were returning back to camp.

He said the morning started off rather slowly and those on the trip had been searching for the elusive leopard but had no luck in doing so. Then they were suddenly rewarded with this rarest of rare sights.
