Is Congress following ‘colour revolution’ script of George Soros by wearing black?

Attired in black, when the Congress led the opposition from the Parliament complex towards Vijay Chowk, it had an uncanny resemblance with colour-coded protests that have been used in other countries to bring down governments, including elected ones on the pretext of restoring democracy.

And the so-called colour-coded revolutions have the fingerprints of George Soros, the architect of the Open Society Institutes which have marshalled the toppling of sovereign government on the template of democracy and human rights.

It is not surprising that opposition parties on Monday contemplated continuing with the “black protests”. According to an ANI report, the discussions took place at the residence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge who had invited the leaders for a dinner. The agency quoted its sources as saying that the meeting of like-minded opposition parties decided that the protest of opposition parties will continue and will be held in front of the Gandhi statue in Parliament on Tuesday with all of the opposition wearing black clothes.

On Monday itself, to make a maximum national impact, Congress party workers in several states also dressed in black.

Incidentally, the Congress’ alliance with Soros is entirely conceivable as the champion of colour-coded protests had already declared war against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and has loudly called for the restoration of democracy in India and slammed Adani—all three themes which the congress protesters have been airing.

Speaking at the Munich Security Conference last month, Soros, the billionaire financier, hit out at Adani and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Soros said that the woes of Adani will weaken PM Modi as the two are “close allies”. No wonder Congress has been harping on a JPC probe on the Adani affair. Soros then went on to make the over-the-top prediction that the double strike will lead to “a democratic revival in India.”

This was not the first time that Soros, who, like fellow globalists despise rising sovereign nations, has personally targeted PM Modi, this time though through the Adani route. The decision to subvert Modi-led India was out in plain sight at the 2020 World Economic Forum in Davos itself.

“The biggest and most frightening setback occurred in India where a democratically elected Narendra Modi is creating a Hindu nationalist state, imposing punitive measures on Kashmir, a semi-autonomous Muslim region, and threatening to deprive millions of Muslims of their citizenship,” Soros had said at that forum.

There is sufficient ground to suspect that Rahul Gandhi has links with the Soros group. This became visible during the Bharat Jodo yatra when a gentleman named Salil Shetty walked alongside Rahul Gandhi on October 31. This was at Harthikote in Karnataka.

Now Shetty is no ordinary individual. He has been the global vice president of Soros’ Open Society Foundations.

In its regular update on the Bharat Jodo Yatra, the Congress wrote:

“Yatris commenced their journey from Harthikote this morning. Walking alongside Shri Gandhi, among others, were two social and human rights activists. Salil Shetty, previous Secretary General of Amnesty International. Also, Nikhil Dey of the Mazdoor Kisan Shakti Sangathan, an organisation known for its work in helping bring about the ‘Right to Information Act’.”

Shetty has a track-record for turning up and bullhorn anti-Modi agitations, including the anti-CAA protests.

In 2020 he addressed protesters at the Shaheen Bagh site, where the anti-CAA protesters had blocked a major road in Delhi for several months.

Later, he joined the farmers’ protest at the Singhu border. In fact, on February 7, he posted a video of his participation at the Singhu border. “Honoured to convey our solidarity to #FarmersProtests in #Singu border, #India. Truly inspired by the determination & sacrifice of the farmers – they are not alone.”

By adopting the black colour, the congress is following a course of action that Soros and co. has been scripted in other geographies. Soros has been blamed for participating in the 2000 “bulldozer revolution” in Yugoslavia by supporting the Otpor movement which removed President Slobodan Milosevic from power. His other “accomplishments” include the “Rose Revolution” in Georgia, the “Tulip Revolution” in Kyrgyzstan and then the “orange revolution” and the “Euromaidan in Ukraine.
