Donald Trump forces Joe Biden to remain anti-China

The unholy alliance of Big Finance, Big Tech, the army of Leftists and liberals, the mainstream media, and the public health mafia seems to have succeeded in replacing Donald Trump with Joe Biden; but while they can remove Trump from the White House, they can’t, to use contemporary parlance, ‘cancel’ him from US politics; he and his principled legacy will loom large over not just America but the entire world. Owing to President Trump’s heroic campaigns against China and his insistence on the salience of America, it will no longer be easy for political and thought leaders to ignore either the vileness of the ferocious dragon or the egregiousness of radical Islam. Trump’s actions in his last days in office underline this fact.

Actions under consideration include protecting US technology from exploitation by China’s military, countering illegal fishing and more sanctions against Chinese Communist Party officials or institutions causing harm in Hong Kong or the far western region of Xinjiang, a senior Trump administration official told Bloomberg. The report also quoted National Security Council spokesman John Ullyot’s statement: “Unless Beijing reverses course and becomes a responsible player on the global stage, future US presidents will find it politically suicidal to reverse President Trump’s historic actions.”

So, Trump is essentially emerging as the antithesis of Congress president Sonia Gandhi: during her rule (2004-14), she ensured that the dangerous entitlements like the national rural employment guarantee scheme and the food security legislation would continue to act as albatross across the neck of every successive government. Trump, on the contrary, is ensuring that the good policies he initiated get institutionalized.

On November 12, President Trump, by an executive order, barred “American investments in Chinese firms owned or controlled by the military. The order prohibits investment firms and pension funds from buying and selling shares of 20 Chinese companies designated by the Pentagon as having military ties…” the Bloomberg report said. Further, “administration officials were discussing expanding that list.”

Trump’s party is supporting him. Congressman Ted Yoho, a Republican, introduced a bipartisan resolution that recognizes the cultural and religious significance of an autonomous Tibet. “Resolved, That the House of Representatives recognizes the cultural and religious significance of a genuinely autonomous Tibet and the deep bond between the American and Tibetan people and commends the 14th Dalai Lama for his commitment to global peace and nonviolence,” the resolution said.

The resolution also said that it “determines that it would be beneficial to convene a bipartisan, bicameral forum, either through a Joint Meeting of Congress, a teleconference broadcast in the Auditorium at the Capitol Visitor Center, or roundtable, between Members of Congress and His Holiness the Dalai Lama to discuss peaceful solutions to international conflicts.”

Yoho tweeted later: “Honored to see the House unanimously passed my resolution recognizing the genuine autonomy of Tibet and celebrating the work the Dalai Lama has accomplished. The US must continue to work with allies to secure freedom from oppression for the Tibetan people.”

The unholy alliance might have defeated Trump but Trumpism will live on, much to the chagrin of China..
