Watch: Kashmiris hail government and Indian Army for protecting and changing their lives

Kashmiris continue to salute the warriors of Indian security forces, thanking them not only for eliminating terrorists but also for providing door-to-door medical support to inhabitants of the snowbound areas.

Earlier today, two terrorists belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror outfit were killed in a brief encounter in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.

Kashmir Zone Police identified the terrorists as Arbaaz Mir and Shahid Sheikh of Pulwama who had earlier escaped from a recent encounter.

The Kashmiris soon took to social media platforms, thanking the Indian security forces for always standing firm and steady to protect the Valley.

Braving all odds and steadfast in duty, Indian Army has been providing door-to-door medical support to inhabitants of the snowbound areas.

Last week, Chinar Corps also responded to a distress call to evacuate a pregnant lady from Sarkuli Village of Kalaroos in Kupwara.

He advised them to constitute control rooms in administrative departments as well as at the HoD level and in the offices of Deputy Commissioners for providing support to the public. Asking them to run campaigns so that ample awareness is created among the masses, the Chief Secretary instructed officials to conduct awareness programmes in educational institutions and at the Panchayat level.

The Chief Secretary was informed that over 400 services have already been offered in online mode across all the departments and many of them are integrated with the quality check and feedback-seeking mechanism of RAS. It was also revealed these services are also being onboarded on the digital portal of e-UNNAT, Service Plus and Digi Locker for ease and free access to the general public.
