<strong>As many as 29,566 hand-made cards prepared by the NCC cadets from Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and themed on patriotism were received by the Indian Army&#39;s Northern Command at Udhampur on Tuesday. The cards have been made under the &#39;Ek Main Sau Ke Liye – Kargil Ke Veeron Ko Gujarat Ka Aabhar&#39; campaign, thanking India&#39;s Kargil War heroes and also all the soldiers currently on duty in the region.<br />

Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had flagged off the vehicle carrying these gratitude cards from his residence in Ahmedabad on July 17.</p>

On Tuesday, these cards were received by Lt. General YK Joshi, GOC-in-C of the Northern Command, who expressed thanks on behalf of the soldiers. &nbsp;<br />

&quot;This is a brilliant, noble and innovative effort by the NCC cadets to inspire the soldiers deployed in the most challenging areas of the Northern Command – the Line of Control, Line of Actual Control and also in the hinterland,&quot; said General Joshi. &nbsp;<br />
