India&#39;s gesture of taking good care of two minor girls from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and repatriating them with &quot;loads of gifts&quot; is being lauded by many Pakistanis and country&#39;s media.</p>

Belonging to Abasspur in Kahuta tehsil of PoK, the two girls &mdash;Laiba Zabair (17) and Sana Zabair (13) &mdash; were apprehended on the Indian side of the LoC in Poonch district on December 6 when they inadvertently crossed the Line of Control (LoC). They were repatriated to Pakistan by the Indian authorities on Monday through the Chakan Da Bagh crossing point in Jammu and Kashmir&#39;s Poonch district.</p>

Laiba Zabair and Sana Zabair had inadvertently crossed into the Indian side from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Sunday[/caption] Indian Army said extreme restraint was exercised by the deployed troops on December 6 to apprehend the two girls without causing any harm to them. Indian Army immediately established contact with the Pakistan side and decided to repatriate the two girls.</p>

Leading Pakistani daily Dawn has carried the news of repatriation on its front page today. &quot;Both the girls, who were given gifts and sweets by Indian authorities as a goodwill gesture, were examined by a lady doctor at Tetrinote terminal before they were sent to neighbouring Abbaspur sub-division, where they lived,&quot; reported the newspaper.</p>

The daily reported that the girls were taken to Abbaspur Police Station from Tetrinote for procedural formalities before being allowed to go home. Another leading Pakistani daily The News carried the report under headline &quot;India hands over two sisters to Pakistan who had mistakenly crossed LoC.&quot; The photographs and videos of the two girls returning home carrying several gift packs from India also went viral on social media in Pakistan.</p>
