The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) today announced the formation of a sub-committee to look into the day-to-day functioning of the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA).

The three-member committee, including Anil Gupta, Mithun Manhas and Sunil Sethi, will work under the supervision and control of the BCCI Committee comprising Sourav Ganguly (BCCI President), Jay Shah (Secretary, BCCI), Arun Dhumal (Treasurer, BCCI) and Rajeev Shukla (Vice-President, BCCI) which was formed in compliance with the judgment of the J&K High Court (dated March 23, 2021) which directed the Indian cricket board to take control of the cricketing affairs in J&K and Ladakh until fresh JKCA elections are held.

BCCI said on Wednesday that Majid Dar will look into the development of cricket in Srinagar and will report to the sub-committee members.
