Weather office warns of heavy rain spells in Kerala, Karnataka & Tamil Nadu

India Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall over parts of Kerala and Coastal Karnataka during the next 5 days.

The weather bulletin issued today has also forecast:

*Widespread light to moderate rainfall across entire Kerala, Coastal & South Interior Karnataka during the next 5 days.

*Widespread light to moderate rainfall interspersed with heavy spells in Tamil Nadu during 2nd-4th July;

*Widespread light to moderate rainfall in Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Rayalaseema on 3rd & 4th July; Telangana on 4th July.

* West India: Widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall is very likely over Konkan & Goa and Ghat areas of Madhya Maharashtra during next 5 days and Gujarat State during next 2 days.

*Conditions are favourable for further advance of Southwest Monsoon into remaining parts of Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab  during the next 2 days.
