India Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rainfall over Telangana and Coastal Karnataka today.
The weather bulletin issued today also forecasts:
*Heavy rainfall in Coastal Karnataka during 26th to 30th June; South Interior Karnataka on 29th & 30th June.
*Light to moderate widespread rainfall during the next 5 days accompanied by thunderstorms and lightning very likely over the southern states during the next 2 days.
*Heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over Kerala on 27th June.
*West India: Fairly widespread light to moderate rainfall very likely over the region during the next 5 days.
*Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely over Konkan & Goa, Gujarat and Ghat areas of central Maharashtra during 26th to 30th June.
* The Southwest Monsoon will advance to some more parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab and the remaining parts of Western Himalayan Region today.
